 Energy Efficiency for Domestic Heating

One day training & assessment course which will allow successful candidates to self-certify under the Part L Building Regulations through an appropriate scheme.The course is recognised by CORGI, the Energy Savings Trust and the Energy Efficiency Partnership for Homes.

 Domestic Solar Hot Water Course

This two day course is aimed at experienced plumbers or heating engineers who wish to extend their scope to include the installation of solar hot water systems. It covers all major types of panel and indirect system. A G3 Unvented Hot Water qualification is a pre-requisite, as is a recognised qualification in a plumbing or gas/oil/solid fuel assessment. A basic knowledge of water regulations and electrics is desirable. This course is not designed to cover in depth the roof and/or access work associated with a Solar system, although it does cover the Health & Safety regulations related to working at heights. The course gives direct access to the installation grants currently available for your customers if you register through www.clear-skies.org on successful completion of the course.
